The Island of Maui... is known as the Valley
Island. It was formed by two large volcanoes joined together
to create a valley in the center. 10,023 ft. high Haleakala
Volcano has the worlds largest extinct erosional valley, covering
25 square miles.
The Island of Molokai... is called the Friendly Island because
of the outgoing nature of its people. It is only 25 miles across
the channel to Oahu, but with this islands slow pace of life
it feels as if it is in another era. |
